We met with Tsumura, the representative of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Japan Office.
The WFP is an international organization committed to eradicate hunger and poverty through food support. In recognition of its emergency food assistance to those affected by conflicts and natural disasters, it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2020.
We have been in close cooperation for almost 30 years since we opened the WFP's office in Japan, and we asked for your further support for the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) and GREEN x EXPO 2027 in Yokohama.
