In collaboration with Yusen Cruises Co., Ltd., President Hiroyuki Endo, we have announced that the name of the newly built cruise ship "Asuka III" and the port of registration have been decided as "Yokohama". My heart sounds high when I imagine "Asuka III" with the word "Yokohama" on the hull sail around the world.
"Asuka III" is Japan's first cruise ship that uses LNG fuel and onshore power receiving equipment. It is said that it is not global warming but also the boiling of the earth, and there is a need for long-term measures, I would like to share the decarbonization innovation together.
We will continue to welcome many cruise ships as one of East Asia's leading cruise ports.
