Of the 18 libraries in Yokohama, we visited the oldest building, the Kohoku Library, and the Hiyoshi Library Agency, located on the Hiyoshi Campus of Keio University.
At the Kohoku Library, we asked not only about lending and returning books, but also about ways to distribute recommended books to children on YouTube and initiatives in cooperation with the local community. In addition, the Hiyoshi Library (Hiyoshi's Book), which opened in January 2022, is very close to Hiyoshi Station and has an exhibition and planning space not found in other agencies.
