About new big city system "special city" that Yokohama aims at early realization, we communicated the necessity of legislation to Naka Ward and Minami Ward district chairpersons who support everyday civic life in area We communicated and exchanged opinions.
We had many opinions and questions such as "What will happen to the role of the ward office?" "I want you to work on eliminating double administration by all means" and were able to exchange meaningful opinions.
Going forward, we will aim to realize the legalization of "special cities" while listening to the opinions of local residents in each ward.
