A commemorative event was held to look back on the 150-year history of Yokohama City University Hospital, which opened in 1871, was held, and a celebration greeting was given.
At the event, the achievements of the ancestors and their contributions so far were introduced, and I felt once again that Yokohama City University School of Medicine and hospitals played a central role in medical care in Yokohama, supported by citizens.
As the environment surrounding medical care changes, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the role that Yokohama City University School of Medicine and hospitals will play increasingly important roles. In order to protect the lives and health of citizens, we will continue to work on the viewpoint of "citizen's perspective", "feeling speed", and "overall optimization".
