Inspection of radioactive materials in tap water

Regarding radioactive materials in tap water, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's notice “Settings of Management Target Values for Radioactive Materials in Tap Water” (No. 0305 No. 2 of Kensui dated March 5, 2012 (PDF: 393KB)) sets new management target values from April 1, 2012, and the notification shows inspection methods. Based on this notice, Yokohama City conducts inspections of radioactive materials in tap water. For recent test results, see the measurement results of radioactive materials in tap water and raw tap water.
