Main Business Activities

The Animal Protection Center mainly performs the following tasks.

Citizen collaboration business

（１） Dissemination of appropriate breeding
　　　We perform discipline classroom, manner lecture of owner and perform spread enlightenment of appropriate breeding.
　　　In addition, we will educate the spread of animal welfare and lifelong breeding through nyan classes to learn how to treat animals correctly.
（２） Enhancement of transfer business
　　　We will promote the transfer of dogs and cats that have been protected and housed to citizens as much as possible.
（３） Measures for dogs and cats whose owners are unknown
　　　We will prevent unreasonable breeding, promptly respond to animal escapes, and prevent abandonment.
（４） Collaboration with Citizen Volunteers
　　　We operate in cooperation with citizen volunteers who share the way of thinking of Motoichi animal administration.
（５） Reflection of citizen opinions
　　　We plan to set up a committee to reflect the opinions of a wide range of citizens in the operation.

Animal Protection and Management

（１） Emergency measures for injured animals
　　　Emergency treatment will be provided at veterinary hospitals in the city.
（２） Protection and management of protected animals
　　　In addition to conducting medical examinations and treatment on the health status of dogs and cats contained, we will continue to provide injured animals transported from veterinary hospitals.
