We plan to show Yokohama's basic approach and measures in order to implement comprehensive and systematic measures such as vacant houses.
In Motoichi, we formulated "Yokohama-shi vacant houses measures plan" in February, 2016 and "the second Yokohama-shi vacant houses measures plan" in March, 2019 (2019) and worked on comprehensive measures such as vacant houses.

Against this backdrop, the Special Measures Law Concerning the Promotion of Measures such as the vacant houses was revised in June 2023, and new systems and structures were established to further advance the vacant houses measures.
In response to the revision of the law, the vacant houses is expected to increase due to the aging of existing houses and the declining birthrate and aging population. We have formulated the "Third City vacant houses Measures Plan" in order to accelerate comprehensive measures such as vacant houses.
