The Yokohama City Living Life Master Plan (Yokohama City Living Life Basic Plan) is a plan that shows the basic direction to be pursued for the housing and living environment of Yokohama City for the next 10 years.
Various actors such as "regions", "companies", "universities, experts, NPOs, intermediate support organizations", and "administrative and public institutions" share this direction, and the housing and living environment that forms the basis of a rich living life like Yokohama We aim to work together to create a living environment.

Based on the "Yokohama City Basic Plan for Living Life" and the "Yokohama Community Comprehensive Care Plan", we will establish a housing safety net for the elderly who need nursing care, etc., and aim to stabilize and improve the living life of the entire elderly It is a plan to promote.

In order to comprehensively and systematically implement measures such as vacant houses, we plan to show Yokohama's basic stance and measures.
In February 2016, the city formulated the “Yokohama City vacant houses Action Plan” and in March 2019 (2019), the “Second Plan for vacant houses, Yokohama City”vacant houses and other measures.

Under these circumstances, in June 2023, the Special Measures Law Concerning the Promotion of Measures such as the vacant houses was revised to create new systems and mechanisms to further advance measures against vacant houses.
In response to this revision of the law, the vacant houses is expected to increase in line with the aging of existing houses and the aging of the population, and the aging of the population. Therefore, in order to accelerate comprehensive measures such as vacant houses, we have formulated the Third Phase of the Action Plan for vacant houses in Yokohama.

 The rental housing supply promotion plan is the “New Housing Safety Net System” established on October 25, 2017 (Heisei 29), and those who need to secure housing. ※This is a plan to set targets for the supply of rental housing, etc., and to develop comprehensive and systematic measures. By establishing a rental housing supply promotion plan, it is possible to add people who need to secure housing and to strengthen and relax the registration standards for safety net housing.
※Persons who need to secure housing: Low-income earners, the elderly, persons with disabilities, child-raising households, survivors, etc. stipulated in the Housing Safety Net Law
