At the Minami Ward Office, we hold on business trips to raise awareness of waste reduction and separation and other questions.

In order to encourage more people to cooperate with the Yokohama 3R dream initiatives, we are conducting educational activities at various commercial facilities and public facilities.
Major activities include draining kitchen garbage, requesting dry discharge of pruned branches, displaying panels related to food loss reduction, and consulting on garbage separation (explaining questions about sorting rules).

While cleaning the sidewalks in the area with the environmental business promotion committee members of each district, check the status of the depot and go around.
In addition, we carry out opinion exchange meeting to maintain better accumulation place and play a part in local exchange.

Every day, the staff engaged in garbage collection goes to elementary, junior high schools, local meetinghouses, etc., and gives lectures on garbage separation.
For elementary school studenｔ courses, we also offer costume shows, picture-story shows, and collection experiences using real collection vehicles.
