Food loss reduction promotion business

In order to reduce food loss, City of Yokohama, Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau is conducting a citizen collaboration project with the Yokohama Media Business Research Institute (YMBL).
In this business, we will promote efforts to reduce food loss by utilizing YMBL's network with private businesses and the viewpoints and know-how of private businesses.

We will develop various activities that utilize the logo with the slogan "Food Love".

We have opened a website that serves as a platform for reducing food loss.
This site contains information on food loss reduction, such as event information and reference examples of business initiatives.
In addition, we will use it as a place for matching between businesses so that new initiatives to reduce food loss can be created.
We are always looking for measures to reduce food loss that can be posted on the site, so please send us information.

Not only food-related businesses, but also companies and organizations in Yokohama are working to reduce food loss in various ways.
We have created a leaflet that introduces some of them.
We aim to provide a reference for reducing food loss in order to increase corporate value.
