Food Loss Reduction Promotion Business

City of Yokohama, Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau is collaborating with Yokohama Media Business Research Institute ("YMBL") as part of efforts to reduce food loss.
In this business, we will promote efforts to reduce food loss by utilizing YMBL's network with private businesses and the viewpoints and know-how of private businesses.

We have opened a website to serve as a platform for reducing food loss.
This site contains information on food loss reduction, such as event information and reference examples of business initiatives.
In addition, we will use it as a place for matching businesses so that new initiatives to reduce food loss can be created.
We are looking for food loss reduction initiatives that can be posted on the site at any time, so please send us information.

Not only food-related businesses, but also companies and organizations in Yokohama are working to reduce food loss in various ways.
We have created a leaflet that introduces some of them.
In order to increase corporate value, we aim to provide a reference for efforts to reduce food loss.
