In the area around Kannai Station, based on the New City Hall Maintenance Basic Plan (developed in March 2014), we are promoting effective use of public spaces through public-private partnerships. In particular, in Odori Park, one of the urban axis in the coastal area of the city center, we aim to create a space where people can enjoy and actively use it for a variety of purposes.
This time, focusing on the characteristics of local residents, the theme of "operation experiments with awareness of internationality in everyday life" and "utilization of After Five" to verify the possibility of utilizing public spaces after the evening The theme was newly set, and the fourth demonstration experiment was conducted.
In addition, as with the third demonstration experiments, chairs and tables are placed to create an environment where people can relax in the park, provide food and drink, play and play sports for children and experience sports. We confirmed changes of park user such as whether to stay.
