Urban Renewal Improvement Plan (Public-Private Partnership Town Development)

The Urban Renewal Improvement Plan, as a “plan for the maintenance and management of towns through public-private partnerships” due to the revision of the law in 2011, describes not only projects subject to the grant of the Social Infrastructure Development Comprehensive Grant, but also initiatives for public-private partnerships. It can now be described.

1.Initiatives for Public-Private Partnership Town Development

Utilizing the following systems, it is possible to comprehensively promote public-private partnership town development. .

1.Deregulation system that utilizes public spaces openly
・Special case of road occupation permission
・Permit to private use of river sites
・Exceptions for permission to occupy city parks

2.An agreement system that effectively utilizes public spaces and private areas to promote the creation of bustle
・Urban Convenience Promotion Agreement
・Urban Renewal Improvement Pedestrian Route Agreement
・Low unused land use promotion agreement
