Notification of temporary occupation in effective vacant lots in specific blocks

When temporarily occupying an effective open space in a specific block, it is necessary to make sufficient adjustments with the effective open space manager.
In addition, based on Yokohama-shi specific block operation standard, it is necessary to report to the mayor and receive confirmation beforehand that it conforms to private use standard.

It applies to any of the following cases.

• Acts that contribute to public recreation, such as appreciation of art.
• Acts that contribute to the creation of liveliness in the district
• Construction or management activities
• Other public interest activities

Except in the case of construction or management activities, all of the following must be satisfied.

• Within 3 months per act
• The total number of days of all acts per year shall be within 180 days

However, this does not apply to activities that the mayor recognizes that there is no risk of harming aesthetics and scenic beauty while contributing to the revitalization of the area and solving problems, and that meets the necessary conditions.

All of the following must be satisfied.

• To the minimum necessary range
• Within approximately 25% of effective open space

In addition, when traffic of general pedestrians is hindered, please take measures such as securing alternative passages.
