Yokohama Station Area (around West Exit and East Exit area) Town Development Consultation Guidelines

1 Purpose

The area around Yokohama Station is a vibrant downtown area visited by many visitors as one of the central city areas in the city center of Yokohama, but on the other hand, there are many issues such as lack of open spaces and the complexity of pedestrians and cars. In order to solve the issues of the city including these and enhance its appeal, a plan "Excite Yokohama 22 (large renovation plan around Yokohama Station)" was formulated in 2009 with an eye on the future image 20 years from now. .
Based on this background, in the area around Yokohama Station, we will properly guide architectural plans and redevelopment plans, accumulate commercial facilities, business facilities, urban housing, etc., and maintain urban infrastructure such as roads and good We promote comfortable and attractive town planning by securing pedestrian space.

2 Consulting Area

Yokohama-sta.-nishiguchi area: Kitako 1-chome and 2-chome, Minami-Koichi-chome and 2-chome, Sengencho 1-chome, Kusunoki-cho, 1-chome, Tsuruya-cho, Kanagawa-ku: Approx. 57ha
Yokohama Station East Exit Area : Takashima 2-chome, Nishi-ku and Hiranuma 1-chome: Approx. 33ha

3 Content of discussion

(1)Coordination with Excite Yokohama 22 (large renovation plan around Yokohama Station)

Please try for plans such as buildings to be consistent with "Excite Yokohama 22 (around Yokohama Station large remodeling plan)".

(2)Shared buildings and sites

In order to plan land use and advanced use appropriate for the station square, small-scale sites and irregular sites should share the site and buildings, etc., and use the land rationally effective use of the land.

(3)Retreat of walls, walls, etc. of buildings

Oh, please let wall of building retreat from road boundary line to secure safe and comfortable pedestrian space and open space. (Please refer to the separate figure for the retreat distance for each route.)
