In recent years, large-scale disasters that are considered to be the effects of climate change, such as the torrential rainfalls and abnormal weather. In Motoichi, in "Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan" revised in March 2014, positioned "adaptation measures" to minimize and avoid damage in response to the effects of climate change. We have been promoting it so far.
This time, based on trends in the international community and the country, etc., we will summarize the measures that the city is promoting in each field from the viewpoint of adaptation, and formulated the "Yokohama City Climate Change Adaptation Policy (draft)" As we did, we raise opinions of citizen's all of you.
