Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan (City Hall)

Since the planning period of the “Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan (City Hall Edition) (October 2018)” (from FY2018 to FY2021) has ended, after reviewing such as raising reduction targets, the plan has been revised.
This plan is a statutory plan based on the Act on Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures, which summarizes measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in office work and business operations conducted by Yokohama City Hall.

With the planning period from FY2014 to FY2017, we have set a goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by more than 8.6% (approximately 77,000 t-CO2) based on FY2012.

Yokohama City Power Saving and Energy Saving Measures Basic Policy

Yokohama City has been working on power saving and energy saving based on the "Yokohama City Power Saving and Energy Saving Measures Basic Policy (June 2011)" formulated in response to the tight power supply and demand caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
※This policy was abolished with the revision of the "Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan (City Hall Edition) (October 2018)". .
