Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan (City Hall)

Since the planning period of the “Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan (City Hall Edition) (October 2018)” (from FY2018 to FY2021) has ended, after reviewing such as raising reduction targets, the plan has been revised.
This plan is a statutory plan based on the Act on Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures, which summarizes measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in office work and business operations conducted by Yokohama City Hall.

From FY2022 to FY2030

Reduced by 50% in FY2030 compared to the base year (FY2013)

●Efforts to expand the introduction of renewable energy
●Initiatives in Public Vehicles
●Operation of facilities and initiatives implemented by staff
●Various initiatives that take advantage of the characteristics of major businesses

Yokohama City has been working on power saving and energy saving based on the "Yokohama City Power Saving and Energy Saving Measures Basic Policy (June 2011)" formulated in response to the tight power supply and demand caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
