Yokohama City SDGs Certification System “Y-SDGs” ([Important Notice] Change of Certification Period)

We are pleased to announce that the certification period of this system has been changed as follows since FY2024 in accordance with the revision of the Y-SDGs Certification Implementation Guidelines.

○Certification Period
　Old: 2 years
　New: 4 years (until the first March 31 after the date four years have passed since the certification date)
　(Example) Certification Date: April 1, 2024　→ March 31, 2028
　　　　Certification date: October 1, 2024　→ March 31, 2029

○Target person
　・The 1st to 12th certification companies

○Renewal Procedure
　Old: The update procedure is possible only once. If the certification is received after the renewal expiration of the certification period, new certification will be handled (hearing is also conducted).
　New: You can update it as many times as you like. Interviews will not be conducted in the renewal procedure.

○Certificate of Certification, etc.
　For businesses that have been certified on or before April 1, 2024, new certificates and certification notices will be sent out as soon as they are ready. In the future, the certificate of certification will be issued only for the first time, and if the renewal procedure is performed thereafter, only the certification notice will be issued. Thank you for your cooperation.

○About Y-SDGs authentication system
The new certification period is scheduled to be reflected around the summer of 2024 due to the renovation of the certification system related to operational changes. In that case, we will inform you again.
In addition, even if you contact Yokohama City or the Design Center regarding your login ID and password to the authentication system, we will not be able to respond, so please keep it strictly together with the notice.
