Yokohama SDGs Certification System “Y-SDGs” ([Important Notice] Change during Certification Period)

In accordance with the revision of the Y-SDGs Certification Implementation Guidelines, the certification period of this system has been changed as follows from FY2024.

○Certification Period
　Old: 2 years
　New: 4 years (until the first March 31 after 4 years have passed since the certification date)
　(Example) Certification date: April 1, 2024　→ March 31, 2028
　　　　Date of certification: October 1, 2024　→ March 31, 2029

○Target person
　・1st to 12th certified businesses

○Update procedure
　Old: The update procedure is available only once. If certification is received after the expiration of the certification deadline after the renewal, new certification will be handled (hearings will also be conducted).
　New: You can update as many times as you like. Interviews will not be conducted during the renewal procedure.

○Certificates of Certification, etc.
　For businesses that have obtained certification on or before April 1, 2024, new certificates and certification notices will be sent out sequentially as soon as they are ready. In the future, the certificate will be issued only for the first time, and if the renewal procedure is performed thereafter, only the certification notice will be issued, so be sure to keep the certification notice in case proof of the certification period is required. Thank you.

○About Y-SDGs authentication system
The new certification period is scheduled to be reflected around the summer of 2024 for the renovation of the certification system related to the operation change. In that case, I will inform you again.
In addition, we will not be able to respond to your login ID and password to the authentication system even if you contact Yokohama City or the Design Center, so please keep it strictly together with the notice.
