Retail Electric Power Company’s renewable energy menu
On this page and the special campaign page, we will continue to post the renewable energy menu of the retail electricity companies introduced in the campaign (until March 31, 2021).
Please use it when you consider switching to renewable energy electricity.
Campaign
With the goal of "Zero Carbon Yokohama" decarbonization by 2050, Yokohama City has been promoting initiatives to expand renewable energy that will lead to reductions in carbon dioxide emissions, which are the cause of global warming.
In recent years, interest in renewable energy electricity has been increasing, but there are voices saying that there is little information to consider switching, so Yokohama City is actively working to supply renewable energy electricity to city businesses. We will carry out a campaign to provide information on the supply menu information of "renewable energy electricity *" supply menu information of retail electricity companies.
ESG investments with an emphasis on environmental, social, and governance factors, and management with a view to decarbonization has been highly evaluated. Switching to renewable energy electricity will not only contribute to global warming countermeasures and SDGs, but also to acquire new customers and business partners, as well as business expansion and growth of business.
※In this campaign, renewable energy electricity is based on non-fosssil certificates with a percentage of renewable energy-derived electricity (including FIT electricity) (renewable energy rate) of 30% or more and the environmental value of non-fossil certificates. In the 2030 energy mix set forth in the National Basic Energy Plan, the ratio of renewable energy sources is 22% to 24%, which is 30% or more because it promotes ambitious initiatives that exceed this. .
