Renewable Energy Menu of Retail Electric Power Companies
On this page and the special campaign page, we will continue to post the renewable energy menu of retailers introduced in the campaign (until March 31, 2021).
Please use it when you are considering switching to renewable energy electricity.
About campaign
The city of Yokohama has set a decarbonized "Zero Carbon Yokohama" by 2050, and is promoting initiatives to expand renewable energy that will lead to a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, a cause of global warming.
In recent years, interest in renewable electricity has increased, but there are voices saying that there is little information to consider switching, so Yokohama City is actively promoting the supply of renewable electricity to city businesses. We will carry out a campaign to provide centralized supply menu information for "renewable electricity *" of retail electricity companies.
The expansion of ESG investment with an emphasis on environmental, social and governance elements is progressing, and management with a view to decarbonization is gaining recognition. Switching to "renewable energy electricity" will not only contribute to global warming countermeasures and SDGs, but also attract new customers and business partners, as well as expand and grow our business.
※In this campaign, "Renewable Energy Electricity" refers to electricity that combines the environmental value of non-fossil certificates, etc., with the ratio of electricity derived from renewable energy (including FIT electricity) (renewable energy rate) of 30% or more. In the energy mix for 2030 stipulated in the national energy plan, the power supply ratio of renewable energy is 22-24%, and it is 30% or more because it promotes ambitious initiatives that exceed this. .
