FY2023 Renewable Energy Electricity Switching Promotion Project for Business Operators (cooperation with the Kanagawa Renewable Energy Electricity Utilization Support Project)

　Yokohama City is expanding the use of renewable energy, such as solar and wind, toward the realization of Zero Carbon Yokohama decarbonization by 2050.
　As one of these initiatives, in fiscal 2022, we started cooperation with Kanagawa Prefecture so that city businesses can switch to renewable energy electricity, and through the Kanagawa Renewable Energy Power Usage Support Project. We support businesses to switch to renewable electricity.

　With the aim of expanding the use of renewable energy power in Kanagawa Prefecture, a system to widely disseminate renewable energy power plans provided by retail electric utilities and certifies and announces companies in the prefecture that actively switched to renewable energy power.

　①Check the list of participating retail electric utilities from Kanagawa Prefecture website
　　From the list of retail electricity companies participating in the Kanagawa Renewable Energy Power Usage Support Project, a “Renewable Energy Electricity Plan” that is interested or interested.

　②Signed a power supply and demand contract
　　Please contact the contact information of each retail electricity company directly and make a contract to switch to renewable energy.
　　At that time, please tell us that you saw the Kanagawa Renewable Energy Power Usage Support Project.

　③Contact to Kanagawa Prefecture
　　After switching to renewable energy power, please contact Kanagawa Prefecture (Environment Planning Division, Environmental Planning Group: 045-210-4065).

　①We issue "Kanagawa renewable energy power use company certificate" certifies that we are working on the use of renewable energy power positively.
　②We announce approach such as authorized companies on prefecture homepages.

　①We give "renewable energy change thank-you letter" to city companies who had you switch.
　　After the end of 2023, a thank-you letter presentation ceremony will be held at the atrium on the 1st floor of the City Hall.
　②We announce companies which switched in 2023 on city homepage and press release.
