Information on subsidies for promotion of fuel cell vehicles (FCVs)

A part of the introduction cost will be subsidized to corporations (including leasing companies), individuals, and sole proprietors who introduce FCVs, which are subsidized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Clean Energy Vehicle Introduction Promotion Subsidy".

Acceptance of 2023 was finished on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Documents necessary for assistance application

Applicant

(1) A legal entity or individual sole proprietorships who purchase FCVs or purchases a loan with retained ownership, located in Yokohama City.
 ・In the case of purchase, the owner and the user on the automatic vehicle inspection certificate must be the applicant.
 ・In the case of a loan purchase with retained ownership, the owner on the automated vehicle inspection certificate must be an automated car company or loan company, and the user must be the applicant.
(2) Automatic vehicle leasing companies that purchase FCVs to lend to corporations or individuals whose headquarters are located in Yokohama.
 ・The owner on the automatic vehicle inspection certificate must be a leasing company, and the user must be a person who will be leased for both vehicles.
 ・The requirement is that the total rent reflects the decline in the amount equivalent to the subsidy.
 ※In addition to the above, it is necessary to meet the requirements of Article 5 of the Guidelines.

Vehicles to be applied

Vehicles that have been started on or after April 1 of the application year and have been registered for the first time (excluding used imported vehicles) that have never applied for a subsidy in the past.

*The start date of the subsidy project is the earliest of “1 vehicle registration date”, “2 vehicle delivery date” or “3. Date on which the purchase price payment has been completed or completed in which the contract procedure in which the payment of the purchase price was completed or the full payment was secured. It becomes.

Vehicles subject to assistance

As of November 14, 2023, the target models are the Toyota "MIRAI" and "Crown" and Hyundai "Nesso".

Vehicle price of fuel cell vehicles (transaction price excluding consumption tax and local consumption tax)
●Subsidy grant amount
1 The subsidy grant amount is the amount obtained by subtracting the total grant amount of subsidies from the government and Kanagawa Prefecture from the subsidized expenses. 
 The lower of the upper limit of the subsidy shall be the lower.
2 When fraction less than 1,000 yen occurs in 2 subsidy grant decision and grant final amount, we cut off this.

Advance application period using electronic application and notification system

From Monday, June 19, 2023 to Wednesday, July 12, 2023

Deadline for submission of grant application and performance report (first style)

Until 30 days have passed since the subsidy project completion date * or until Friday, March 8, 2024, whichever comes first (must arrive).
*The completion date of the subsidy project is the slowest day of “1 vehicle registration date”, “2 vehicle delivery date” or “3. Date on which the purchase price payment has been completed or completed in which the contract procedure in which the payment of the purchase price was completed or the full payment was secured”
・If the advance application exceeds the budget range, a lottery will be conducted and only the winners will be accepted. Applicants who have been selected for the lottery will be given a substitute number, and if they are less than the upper limit of the budget, applications will be accepted in order from the smaller number until the budget limit is reached. In this case, the deadline for submitting the application form is until Friday, March 8, 2024 (must arrive).
・If the subsidized project has been completed before the application end date of the electronic application system, until Thursday, August 10, 2023
・After the pre-application by the electronic application system, if the budget is less than the upper limit, it will be accepted by mail and on a first-come, first-served basis after the application is completed. (If there are multiple applications on days that exceed the budget limit, lottery.)

◆Precautions
1 Those who have received the subsidy are required to own the vehicle until four years have elapsed since the month following the date on which the subsidized vehicle is newly registered.
2 If you plan to use other subsidies from Motoichi when introducing FCVs, please consult us in advance.
3 After receiving the subsidy grant decision and grant amount confirmation letter, please submit the invoice immediately. (until Friday, April 12, 2024 (must arrive))
4 If you submit a power of attorney (No. 7 style) is submitted, you can delegate the application work.
