[Request] About general information center "rainbow no Ie"

The general information center "Rainbow no Ie" is open due to measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection. When you visit the museum, please cooperate with infection prevention measures.
In addition, in order to prevent the spread of infection, admission may be restricted due to congestion and the number of people renting out training rooms etc. may be reduced than usual.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
In addition, business hours and business days may be changed for other facilities in Maioka Furusato Village ("Maiokaya" and "Ham Kobo Maioka") to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection. Please contact each facility.

General Information Center "Rainbow no Ie"

In Maioka Hometown Village, facilities that can be used by citizens are provided. The center of this is the Rainbow House, a general information center. Inside the exhibition corner introducing the nature, agriculture, and rural culture of Maioka Furusato Village, there is also a training room and a cooking training room where workshops and cooking classes can be held, and rentals are also available.
In addition, various classes are held, such as a wiener making classroom using the training room and cooking training room, and nature observation sessions using the hometown field.

Maioka

We mainly sell processed products such as fresh vegetables and fruits, rice, flowers, and pickles harvested in Maioka Hometown Village.

We sell handmade hams and various sausages with emphasis on safety using pork produced in Maioka.

Composting facilities

Good quality compost is needed to bring rich fruit. The Maioka Hometown Village composts Kitami Livestock (pork) in the hometown village and livestock feces from livestock farmers in Totsuka Ward are composted and supplied to farmers in Maioka.

Experience greenhouse

This is a greenhouse where farmers actually grow tomatoes. Every May, a harvest experience tomato mogi (charged) is held.
