6 prize-winning works of the 21st Hamana-chan Cooking Competition have been decided!
There are a lot of masterpieces using "cabbage"
In order to raise understanding of agricultural products produced in Yokohama City and interest in school lunches, the “Hamana-chan Cooking Contest” has been held since 2003 to propose a new school lunch menu using vegetables from the city for elementary school students. doing. Every year, elementary school student's thoughtful and unique recipes appear, some of which are actually used in the school lunch menu. The 21st Hamana-chan Cooking Competition was held on the theme of "cabbage", which is widely produced in Yokohama City.

Prize-winning works
All entries are masterpieces, and there are a variety of dishes, including those that are conscious of the SDGs, those that have devised naming, and those that make use of the characteristics of Yokohama. Out of a total of 2,363 entries, a document screening was conducted by related organizations and six works were selected!

In collaboration with the restaurant "TSUBAKI Shokudo" where you can experience "local production for local consumption" in Yokohama through food, we will provide a menu that adds an arrangement to the six dishes that won this time. Please enjoy it!

It is nutritious by combining cabbage with tuna and Yokohama Komatsuna.

Originally, ratatouille uses summer vegetables, but it is a recipe that uses other than summer vegetables.
You can eat a lot of vegetables and it's nutritious and delicious even when cooled.

Vegetables are cut into 1cm squares so that even first graders (lower grades) can easily eat.
It can be made with Chinese rice bowl or put on katayakisoba, so be sure to make it.
