6 prize-winning works of the 22nd Hamana-chan Cooking Competition have been decided!

There are many masterpieces using "Komatsuna"

In order to raise understanding of agricultural products produced in Yokohama City and interest in school lunches, the “Hamana-chan Cooking Contest” has been held since 2003 to propose a new school lunch menu using vegetables from the city for elementary school students. doing. Every year, elementary school student's thoughtful and unique recipes appear, some of which are actually used in the school lunch menu. The 22nd Hamana-chan Cooking Competition was held under the theme of "Komatsuna", which is widely produced in Yokohama City.

In collaboration with the restaurant "TSUBAKI Shokudo" where you can experience Yokohama's "local production for local consumption" through food, we will add arrangements to the six works that won this time.

I was not good at mini tomatoes, but when I thought and made it myself, it became very delicious and I could eat it. I want to participate again and like more vegetables and dishes.

Komatsuna's bitterness and bitterness are chopped into small pieces so that even children who are bitter can eat deliciously. With a slightly sweet seasoning, the rice will proceed!

I'm very happy to be able to win the prize! I studied vegetables in Yokohama, imagined that I would come out in school lunch, and listened to the opinions of my family, and thought about various recipes. Curry flavor, miso and butter soy sauce flavor, my younger brothers' favorite corn and lotus root, and I tried to make potage with a mixer. It was fun to try various methods and discover a lot of delicious ways to eat Komatsuna. I want to do it again.

Komatsuna, which is rich in calcium, combined with Takano tofu, which is rich in minerals, and pork, which is the source of protein, I thought about a menu that makes the bones healthy.

I learned what nutrition is contained in the ingredients and deepened my knowledge.
It was fun to cook with my mother and learn about how to cut and how to cook.

It was very difficult to think about the seasoning, appearance, and nutrition. We tried and errored so that as many people as possible can eat deliciously. I wanted to make local production for local consumption dishes, so I also looked up vegetables made in Yokohama City. It was hard, but I am very happy to be able to win the prize!
