Can I release insects that can no longer be kept or plant increased flowers?
Last Updated January 23, 2019
A. Do not release or plant creatures without permission.
Not only insects and flowers, but Shimin-no-Mori prohibits taking or bringing creatures. Bringing creatures that have not originally inhabited will threaten the habitat of creatures that have lived in Shimin-no-Mori. It is also known that the same species have different genetic information possessed by different places where they grew up. Bringing organisms from outside can lead to the loss of genetic information unique to the region. If you want to keep creatures, please respond responsibly until the end.
In addition, Shimin-no-Mori Protection Association and forest-building volunteer group may plant trees, but these are performed in consultation with park green tract of land.
