About tree branches and cut grass in the park.
How do you dispose of tree branches and cut grass in the park? How do you recycle it?
Last update date April 1, 2019
In order to recycle pruned branches generated from parks and street trees, a "green recycling plant" was launched in Yokohama Animal Forest Park in March 2006.
This facility is used to convert pruned branches and cut grass generated from parks and street trees into chips and compost. The chips are used as mulching material to reduce weeds, and compost is used as a soil improvement material. In addition to being used for maintenance, etc., it is also available for general sales.
