Q

Is it okay to play in the sandbox in the park?

Last Updated April 2, 2019

A

Regarding the sanitary condition of the sandbox, we carry out sanitary inspections of sandboxes at dozens of parks in the city every year, and the result is that "it is okay if you wash your hands after playing in the sandbox." In addition, as measures such as cat dung, we can carry out net hanging to sandbox when we can cooperate with park protection society or users such as management. Please contact each park green space office, Public Works Office of each ward.

  • It's important to make sure you have the habit of washing your hands just as you play outside. It's even more effective to gargle or wash your face.
  • If you find a dog or cat dung in the sandbox, please cooperate so that it can be removed immediately with the surrounding sand.
