[Alert] Traffic accidents are occurring frequently in Yokohama.
Last update date April 2, 2020
Beware of accidents while walking!
In Yokohama, as of March 25, 21 people had died in a traffic accident, of which 12 were walking. Ignoring traffic lights and crossing at prohibited places can lead to life-threatening accidents. Follow the traffic light and cross the pedestrian crossing. Reflective materials are also useful to prevent accidents at night.
When you put on a reflective material…
Reflect the light even on dark roads!
Beware of crossing pedestrians when driving!
When passing through a pedestrian crossing, drive at a speed that allows pedestrians to stop.
Also, when a pedestrian is trying to cross a pedestrian crossing, they must stop just before the pedestrian crossing.
"Safety comes from mind and time."
Always keep in mind "may be" driving instead of "driving" and drive safely.
