Last Updated September 9, 2024

Notice

There's nothing in particular.

Overview

In the sewerage field, Yokohama City provides opportunities for visitors and trainees from overseas to visit facilities and give lectures within the framework of projects being implemented by related organizations (see "Institutions Receiving Requests" below).
Tours are also held at sewage treatment facilities, pumping stations, inundation countermeasures facilities, construction sites, and babblings where recycled water is used. Lectures cover a wide range of themes, including sewage treatment, sewage sludge treatment, business wastewater regulations, inundation countermeasures, management, and public relations, all of which are based on requests for each project.
Hokubu Sewerage Center, one of the most frequently used tour facilities, has a wide range of display panels and models in both Japanese and English as a base for disseminating information by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT).

Yokohama City provides a place for the world to experience a wide range of know-how on water and the environment.
