Last Updated August 31, 2018
Sewage and rainwater can be classified as follows in principle.
Sewage is wastewater caused by living or business. Wastewater from flush toilets, kitchens, bathrooms, washrooms, laundry, and wastewater from factories, etc. are sewage.
Rainwater is a wastewater caused by natural phenomena such as rainfall. In addition to drainage from gutters during rainfall, spring water and snowmelt that come out on the surface of the ground are rainwater.
