Pumping Stations under the jurisdiction of Nambu Wastewater Treatment Plant

Isogo pumping station is a relay pumping station that collects sewage in the treatment area, drains rainwater, and sends sewage to Nambu Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Operations began in 1965, and staff members are stationed in the daytime and remote monitoring from the Nambu Wastewater Treatment Plant at night to save labor.

The Isogo Pumping Station started operation in July 1965.

Pump

Pump
A pump is a machine that pumps up sewage.
Isogo pumping station has seven sewage pumps and nine rainwater pumps.

The Mansei Pumping Station is adjacent to Naka-Murakawa, and is a pumping station aimed at eliminating flooding in Yoshino-cho, Takasagocho, Hiecho, Banseicho, Urafunecho, Naka Ward, Nogecho, Fukudomimachi, Kotobukicho, and Hanasakicho in Nishi WardIsezakicho.
During heavy rains, rainwater flows into the rainwater trunk line from the sewer main line and flows into the Mansei pumping station.
The Mansei pumping station uses a large pump to drain the rainwater into Naka-Murakawa to prevent damage from flooding in advance.
The upper part of the pump station is effectively used as a fire brigade warehouse and a plaza.

The Mansei Pumping Station started operation in October 1987.

In the control room, you can see the status of various machines in the pumping station.

The Yoshino Pumping Station is located at the junction of the Okagawa River and Naka-Murakawa, and aims to eliminate flooding in Kamiookanishi and Okubo in Konan Ward and Idogayashimomachi, Nakamachi and Minamiota-cho in Minami Ward.
During heavy rain, rainwater flows into the rainwater trunk line from the sewer main line and flows into the Yoshino pumping station.
The Yoshino pumping station uses a large pump to drain the rainwater into the Okagawa and Nakamura rivers to prevent damage caused by flooding in advance.
In addition, the upper part of the pumping station is effectively used as Yoshinocho citizen plaza.

In the control room, you can see the status of various machines in the pumping station.

Isogo Daini Pumping Station is adjacent to Tokyo Bay and is a pumping station mainly for the purpose of eliminating inundation in the area around the digging river.
The pumping and reservoir facility temporarily stores initial rainwater in rainy weather, sends it to Nambu Wastewater Treatment Plant in sunny weather, clean the water, and discharges it to Tokyo Bay.
In addition, the upper part of the reservoir is open to the public as a park where the sea can be seen.

The Isogo No.2 pump started operation in March 2000.

Pumping facilities

Pumping facilities
There are two types of pumping facilities: a sand basin for collecting sand and garbage contained in the initial rainwater, and a pump for putting the initial rainwater into the reservoir.

It is a park where you can see the sea seen from the rooftop of the pumping facility.

You can actually observe the outline of the sewerage business and the process of regenerating dirty water and turning it into clean water.
