A pump is a machine that pumps up sewage. There are seven sewage pumps and nine rainwater pumps at the Isogo pumping station. |
The Mansei Pumping Station is located adjacent to Nakamurakawa, and is a pumping station designed to eliminate flooding in Yoshino-cho, Takasagocho, Hiecho, Banseicho, Urafunecho, Naka Ward, Isezakicho, Nogecho, Fukudomimachi, Kotobukicho, Nishi Ward, and Hanasakicho.
In the event of heavy rain, rainwater flows into the rainwater trunk line from the sewer trunk line and flows into the Mansei pumping station.
At the Mansei pumping station, rainwater that has flowed in is drained to Nakamurakawa using a large pump to prevent damage caused by flooding in advance.
In addition, part of the upper part of the pumping station is effectively used as fire brigade warehouses and squares.
