Treated water reclamation facilities

Kohoku Wastewater Treatment Plant has established a treatment water recycling facility to make effective use of abundant treated water.
At the treated water reclamation facility, advanced treated water (treated water from which nitrogen and phosphorus, which cause eutrophication, has been removed from the past) is filtered with sand to remove fine dirt, and then sterilized with an ozone disinfection facility.
The water filtered with sand is used for cleaning machinery and equipment in the center, lubricating water from the main pump, and cleaning sewer pipes.
The ozone sterilized water is used as air-conditioning heat source water and toilet water at Nissan Stadium, toilet water at Yokohama Arena, babbling at Futoo South Park and Shin-Yokohama Park, and also used for toilet water in the center. I am.
In addition, since February 2008, we have also supplied the Shin-Yokohama Central Building (JR Central Shin-Yokohama Station Building).
