Kohoku Wastewater Treatment Plant has established treatment water recycling facilities to make effective use of abundant treated water.
At the treated water reclamation facility, highly treated water (treated water obtained by removing nitrogen and phosphorus, which causes eutrophication) is filtered with sand to remove fine dirt, and then sterilized with an ozone disinfection equipment. .
The water filtered with sand is used for cleaning machinery and equipment in the center, lubricating water from the main pump, and cleaning sewer pipes.
The ozone sterilized water is used as a heat source water for cooling and heating sources and toilet water at Nissan Stadium, toilet water at the Yokohama Arena, the babbling of Futoo South Park and Shin-Yokohama Park, as well as toilet water in the center. I am.
Since February 2008, the company has also supplied the Shin-Yokohama Chuo Building (JR Central Shin-Yokohama Station Building).
