The booklet "Sustainable Yokohama" introduces organizations and organizations that engage in initiatives related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Yokohama.

We invite working adults and students who are active in Yokohama to guests, talk about the history and sightseeing of Yokohama with members, and distribute videos through various projects.

Hama Aruki <Sponsored by: RCE Yokohama Youth Federation>
Date of implementation: Full year
"Hama Aruki" is a project to discover the charm of Yokohama. I walked in Seya Ward Kanazawa Ward in 2021.
In Seya Ward, I was able to walk through the shopping street and ask the shops about the history of Seya Ward. In Kanazawa Ward, we visited Kanazawa Seven Lucky Gods. I was able to interact with local people at the shop I stopped by on the way.

DRENi × Youth Federation Project <Sponsored by: Marui Company, Limited>
Date of implementation: around November, 2021
"DRENi" is a sharing dress business operated by Marui and aims to achieve a circular economy (circular economy). The RCE Yokohama Youth Federation sympathized with this project and decided to collaborate with the hope that it will help build a sustainable society.

Saturday class-SDGs and the sea to think about in "x combination"-class production
<Organizer: Midorigaoka Women's Junior High School, Yokohama City University, Marine Association of Yokohama>

Date of implementation: November 27, 2021
I learned SDGs such as gender, technology, and the sea from four perspectives of ESD (review, connect, change, regional issues are global issues). We created a space where students and teachers could talk in a flat manner, identified things that would increase the effect and things that would disappear in the future, and made them aware of social changes.

"Tray mat design contest" project to think and act on biodiversity 
<Organizer: Kanto Gakuin University Co., Ltd. Supported by McDonald's Japan Co., Ltd.: Yokohama-shi>

Date of implementation: August-November 2021 (Contest: August, tray mat store development: November)
Students from Kanto Gakuin University learned about biodiversity and the procurement of sustainable ingredients and materials from McDonald's Japan, and challenged the design of tray mats used at McDonald's stores. The best work in the citizen participation contest is available at all stores in McDonald's. We also exhibited works at the city hall.

Yokohama Vegan Ramen Project <Sponsored by: RCE Yokohama Youth Federation>
Implementation period: From September 15, 2021 to November 21, 2021
Developed and sold vegan ramen using vegetables from Yokohama. It was planned to convey local production for local consumption, the taste of ingredients from Yokohama, and the familiarity of vegan.
Number of cups sold: 175 cups (September 15-November 21)
Crowdfunding: 118,410 yen (September 17-October 15)

Summer Conference 2021 Irodori Cafe <Sponsored by: Japan Youth Chamber>
Date of implementation: July 17, 2021
The RCE Yokohama Youth Federation's plan (vegan ramen project, local learning base project) was announced at Irodori Cafe on the theme of a place where local communities, companies and people can connect directly.


PR cooperation of "Yokohama's finances that can be understood at a glance" <Sponsoring: Yokohama-shi Finance Bureau>
Date of implementation: April, 2021
In order to encourage citizens to take an interest in the city's finances, we appeared in a leaflet issued by Finance Bureau, Yokohama City.

EARTH HOUR 2021 in YOKOHAMA <Sponsored by: WWF, Yokohama City>
Date of implementation: March 27, 2021
Formed and participated in "Team Zero Youth Yokohama," an organization aimed at promoting global warming countermeasures, centered on university students and young people in Yokohama, at EARTH HOUR, a global turn-off action event. The Executive Committee of Earth Hour 2021 was also in charge of the Executive Committee. On April 26, we paid a courtesy call to the mayor.

International Conference on Sustainable Brands 2021 <Sponsored: Expo, Inc., Sustainable Life Media, Inc.>

At the "Sustainable Brand International Conference" held around the world where global sustainability leaders gather, the lunch session "From Yokohama Youth! What is the way of job hunting that connects sustainable students and companies? The RCE Yokohama Youth Federation took the stage as a panelist.
