About the International Youth Conference on Biodiversity Yokohama 2024
The International Youth Conference on Biodiversity aims to create a transformative path towards the 2050 Vision for Biodiversity with Nature, and to contribute to the effective implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Biodiversity Framework (external site) through youth and their partners. The Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP16) scheduled to be held in Colombia in October 2024, which is scheduled to be held in Colombia in October 2024.

What is the Global Youth Network for Biodiversity (GYBN)?
The Global Biodiversity Network (GYBN) (external site) is an international platform that coordinates youth participation in the Convention on Biological Diversity. We are committed to activities that take into account youth perspectives and positions in the decision-making process. Since its establishment in 2010, the 10th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP10) held in Japan in 2010, it has grown into a network consisting of 172 countries, more than 700 youth organizations, 60 branch offices, and three regional branches.
