In the Yokosuka Power Station Construction Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”), Tomen Power Yokosuka Co., Ltd. will supply electricity to 5-2931-70 Urago-cho, Yokosuka City (hereinafter referred to as “planned land”). The project is to construct a thermal power plant using a waste heat recovery combined cycle power generation system with an output of 239,700 kW.
Since this project is located relatively close to approximately 2 km from the Yokohama city area, it is necessary to consider the impact on Yokohama City, select appropriate survey and forecasting methods, and conduct an environmental impact assessment.
