Eleven years have passed since the Yokohama City Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance was enforced, and in order to respond to the growing interest in the environment of citizens during this period, issues related to the operation of the system, diversification of various businesses, etc. Appropriate, we examined the ideal way of a more effective environmental impact assessment system and revised the "Yokohama City Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance" (promulgated on December 24, 2010).
With the revision of the ordinance, the "Yokohama City Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance Enforcement Regulations", "Yokohama City Environmental Consideration Guidelines" and "Yokohama City Environmental Impact Assessment Technology Guidelines" will be revised and formulated. We carry out opinion open call for participants to have opinion from citizens about contents of these plans widely.
