The area around Tennocho Station and Hoshikawa Station is positioned as the center of Hodogaya Ward, and our future goal is to create a connected and integrated city that combines business, commerce, culture, exchange and administrative functions.
However, the Sotetsu Main Line, which crossed the ward, caused chronic traffic congestion and regional division due to railroad crossings.
For this reason, in a section of approximately 1.9 km, including Tennocho Station and Hoshikawa Station, we implemented a continuous grade separation project aimed at removing nine railroad crossings, improving the living environment by facilitating local traffic and integrating the area. Elimination of railroad crossing accidents.
In addition, along with the elevated railway through the continuous grade separation project, the Hoshikawa Station Square and surrounding roads have been developed as part of community development along the railway.
