Tree branches and cut grass are taken to the Green Recycling Plant in Yokohama Animal Forest Park in Asahi Ward, as well as to private recycling facilities.
At the "Green Recycling Plant", wood is finely crushed and fermented to make compost. The compost made is used for greening works such as parks and street trees, and sold to the general public.
