Beware of heat stroke during Hamasapo activities!

Last Updated August 5, 2021

Measures against heat stroke

Heat stroke has occurred nationwide from July to mid-September.
When conducting Hamaroad supporter activities, please pay attention to the following points.

  1 Let's drink water frequently.
When you feel thirsty, you already run out of water in your body. Even if you don't feel thirst, drink water frequently.

2 If you sweat a lot, take a proper amount of salt.
Sweat contains 2 to 3 grams of salt per liter, so if you drink only water or tea when you sweat a lot, you can use it.
The salinity of the body may decrease, causing muscle spasms.
Take an appropriate amount of salt, such as sports drinks.
For ionic beverages or sports drinks containing sodium 40 to 80 milligrams (in 100 ml), the appropriate amount of salt content at the same time as the water.
   You can take it.

3 To prevent the temperature from rising, try to use something familiar.
Use a coolant, blinds, fan, etc., or wrap a cold wet towel around your neck.

  4 Choose a loose, sweat-absorbing clothes
The neck area is a part that emits a lot of heat, so do not tighten it.
Choose the material, such as cotton or hemp, and choose a whitish color instead of black.

5 Avoid direct sunlight and take a break frequently.
The outdoor temperature under the scorching sun is higher than the temperature in the weather forecast. Wear a hat when you are active.
Let's take a break in a cool place such as the shade.
