Escalator "Let's stop without walking" campaign
We will carry out a campaign calling for the safe use of escalators in collaboration with 56 railway companies, four organizations, airport facilities, commercial facilities, and local governments nationwide. (July 24 to August 31, 2023)
Walking on the escalator not only poses a risk of falling, but the habit of opening one side for walking can lead to dangerous accidents for customers who can only be caught on either left or right handrails. We will make calls such as "stop without walking" and "let's grab to the handrail" so that all customers can use the escalator with peace of mind.
