Of the publications published by City Library Yokohama, the following are available at bookstores. (List of destinations for sale)

Yokohama Books and Culture

5000 Yen 1994 A4 size, 833 pages

Edited with the theme of "Yokohama Cultural Magazine Talked by Publications". From the time of Yokohamamura to the present day, 134 items in four fields: "publishing", "reading culture", "foreign culture", and "library".

Yokohama Books and Cultural Session

2000 yen, 1994 A4 size text 247 pages

It consists of four parts: "People", "Inventory statistics", "Library statistics", and "Documents". Includes materials that could not be included in "Yokohama's Books and Culture".

100 years in the turbulence of Honmoku

Contains a total of 180 illustrations, focusing on photographs received from citizens. Includes valuable photographs of "Honmaki" when the sea was the center of daily activities, and the fisheries and festivals at that time. Along with the illustrations, a chronology related to "Honmaki" and a list of images related to "Honmaki" recorded in various materials are included in the material edition.

As Yokohama's Memory equipment, Municipal Central Library uses its accumulated data to date to highlight Yokohama's transition and growth process.

  • Vol.1 Hon-cho Dori Avenue, Yoshidabashi Bridge, Noge Iseyama, and Kaigan Dori, the Yokohama Ukiyo-e recreates the late Meiji and early MeijiTaisho.
  • Vol.2 The streets of Hon-cho Dori Avenue, Yoshidabashi Bridge, Noge Iseyama, and Kaigan Dori, the damage caused by the Great Kanto Earthquake of September 1, 1923, and the appearance of Yokohama's reconstruction in the early Showa period.
  • Vol.3 Under the theme of "Yokohama Children", images are picked up from Yokohama Ukiyo-e, Yokohama postcards, Yokohama Photography, Senshafuda, trademarks, etc.
  • Vol.4 "Yokohama in 1860", we will introduce landscape paintings depicting Yokohama in the year after the opening of the port as a panoramic photograph.
  • Vol.5 Introducing a part of Noge's multi-publister "Tomi Goro Ozaki's Work".
  • Vol.6 and 7 "Drawed Tokaido" Kanagawa / Hodogaya / Tozuka ""
  • Vol.8 "Look at this vibrancy! Isezakicho, a symbol of Yokohama.
