Did you know Soichiro Asano, who is said to be the "ancestor of Keihin landfill"?
Soichiro succeeded in a variety of business with his innate management talent and efforts, and became one of the leading figures in the business world of the Meiji Taisho era.
Here are some materials that show the life and achievements of Soichiro Asano.

Junko Nitta / Written Ones, 2007
According to the author of Soichiro Asano, his grandfather was a subordinate of Soichiro Asano.
Additional and re-addition of "The Man, Soichiro Asano Den, a man who made modern Japan without scale" (outside site) (Sunmark Published 2000).
The same author's book also includes "The Man Who Between Soichiro Asano's Life Partner" (external site) (Everyday One's 2008).

Joyo Demachi / written Gentosha 2013
He talks about Soichiro's life in a novel style. It is drawn into the fun that is different from the biography.

A biography of twelve men who created Japan, such as Eiichi Shibusawa and Yataro Iwasaki.

A research book on Soichiro Asano and the Asano Zaibatsu. The title comes from the inscription on the right of Soichiro Asano.

Toa Construction Industry / Published Toa Construction Industry 1989
It is a pre-war history of Toa Construction Industry, but he is familiar with Soichiro's achievements as an entrepreneur, and describes the landfill project in Tokyo Bay.

Kanagawa Pref.Library / Kanagawa Prefectural Kawasaki Library / Published Kanagawa Pref.Library 2012
Introduces representative Japanese businessmen, such as Soichiro Asano, Eiichi Shibusawa and Tomitaro Hara in a series of biography, and a catalog of literature for each person. He focuses on the people who have pioneered activities in the rise of modern companies, and explains their roles. Chapter 9 states, "Soichiro Asano's government-run factory on track and become cement king of cement."

'Tokyojin' Editorial Office / Editing City Publishing 1993
This is a compilation of the series from the April 1988 issue to the December 1992 issue of the magazine "Tokyojin". There is a chapter titled "Soichiro Asano and Keihin Industrial Zone" by Hideki Higashi.

Soichiro Asano, Ryozo Asano / Ozo Asano / Daizokusha 2010
This is a reprint of the autobiography published in 1923 (the original is a revised 8th edition published in 1937). This is a co-authored by Soichiro (Jiro Hata) and his younger brother Ryozo. We also have a book of revised 9 edition issued in 1939.

Asano Family Co., Ltd. 1943
It contains an overview of Asano-related companies and a list of officers at the time of 1943. The number of companies listed, 95! I am surprised at the time of multi-purpose management.
