Introducing materials about Shigetada Hatakeyama held in Yokohama City Library.

Shigetada Hatakeyama is a powerful family member in the early days of the Kamakura Shogunate, and is said to have been a confident and confidential warlord with a good personality.
However, he was involved in a power struggle in the Shogunate, and finally died in the Battle of Futamatagawa (currently near Tsurugamine, Asahi-ku).
There are many famous traces of Shigetada in Asahi Ward.
