"Historical sound source" refers to early records (SP boards) manufactured in Japan from early 1900 to around 1950, and sound sources recorded on metal bases, etc., by the Historical Soundboard Archive Promotion Council (HiRAC). It was done. There are about 50,000 sound sources such as music and speeches, and include a variety of contents such as rakugo, Nagauta, orchestra, opera, Kiyoharu, Namihanabushi, popular songs, lectures, jazz.
As a participant building of the National Diet Library's historical sound source distribution, Chuo-toshokan can view sound sources.

How to apply for use
Please apply at the counter on the third floor of Chuo-toshokan.
Qualification of use
It can be used by anyone.
Usage time
30 minutes at a time
If there is no other application at the end of use, you can apply again.
Precautions
Storage media such as USB memory are not allowed to be brought in or used.
