CD-ROM database search service

You can use CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs at the PC Research Corner on the 3rd floor of Chuo-toshokan.
For information on the use of materials held outside of Chuo-toshokan, please contact the collection hall.

It can be used by anyone.

Fill out the “Application Form for Copying Documents in Yokohama City Library” and submit it to the counter on the 3rd floor of Chuo-toshokan.
Black and white total size 10 yen per sheet, 50 yen per sheet for color B4 size, 80 yen per sheet for A3 size

• It is not available only for the media held in the library.
• Storage media such as USB memory cannot be brought in or used.
• When using each software, please refer to the manual etc. and pay attention to the last update date and recording period of the data.
• Printing (copying) is stipulated by the Copyright Act and the regulations of each database company.
• Due to the compatibility of the terminal and the printer, some software cannot be printed.

1.　In advanced search screen (1), enter the material name in the title field (2). In addition, change one of the items from the pull-down to "keyword" and enter "ROM" (3) to search

2.　On the search result detailed display screen, check the four points of "Size, etc.", "Holding Symbol", "Request Symbol", "Place".

• Size, etc.: Documents that can be used with "CD-ROM" or "DVD-ROM".
• Collections: You can check which library is available for viewing.
• Separated: You can check where it is located in the library.
• Billing Symbol: You can check which devices in the PC Research Corner can be viewed.

For example, if the "collection" is "center" and the "billing symbol" contains "No. 1".
