Legal Information Corner

Use Chuo-toshokan as an access base for exploring legal information, such as when you need legal information in your daily life or business, or when you need to consult with lawyers and other experts.

Approximately 900 books are always available, including "legal consultations for the general public" on various themes, six laws in specific fields, commentary on articles, and case commentary.

Create a variety of navigation tools, such as the "Law Information Classification Index". It supports access to more than 30,000 legal books and databases owned by Chuo-toshokan.

We prepare pamphlets from various related organizations such as Hoterasu, Judicial Scrivener Association, and Traffic Accident Dispute Resolution Center, and provide legal consultation information useful for solving problems.

In Yokohama City Library, a classification number is assigned to each theme, and books are arranged in the order of number based on the classification method called "Japan Decimal Classification Table".
This index allows you to check the classification number based on the main keywords and legal name.

You can search for legal literature information, CDs and DVD-ROMs such as "leage case time signal", "judgment Times", "financial / commercial case", and "labor precedents".
