How to register e-mail
When you register your e-mail address on the online catalog page, you will receive various e-mails from the library.
Last Updated January 19, 2024
You will receive an email with the following content.
- Communication of reserved books
- Information on newly arrived books (for those who set up in advance)
- Request for return confirmation
- Notification of expiration date of library card
- Other emergency news from libraries

If you are taking measures against spam, please set up to receive emails from yokohama-library@lib.city.yokohama.lg.jp.
E-mail registration procedure
1.After logging in on the online catalog page, open "My Library" and press [Settings] on user information.
Functions of My Library (how to authenticate (login))
2.The "Change User Information" screen will be displayed.
You can register up to two e-mail addresses of your PC (self PC) and mobile phone.
Enter and set only the items you want to register and change. Items that are not registered or changed will not be changed unless entered.
After inputting, press Update.
※At this time, you can receive a registration completion email by setting the "Registration completion email delivery destination".
Setting method: Select "My PC" or "Mobile" according to the address to be registered, and set the delivery status to "Distribution".
3.The "User Information Change Confirmation" screen will be displayed.
Check the changes, and if there is no error, press [Update]. If there is an error, press [Record] to return to the change screen.
4.The information that accepted the application is displayed in the "User Information Change Results", and the change is completed.
