Transfer to organizations and facilities

We will transfer children's books that are no longer used in the library to groups and facilities operating in Yokohama City.

The following groups and facilities are eligible.

• Facilities under the jurisdiction of Yokohama City
• Local groups, workplace groups, social education related organizations, etc. operating in Yokohama City for the purpose of promoting group lending and local reading activities registered in Yokohama City
• Facilities or organizations based in Yokohama, such as social welfare facilities, hospitals and clinics, schools, correctional facilities, etc.

Each Wednesday from Wednesday, February 19, 2025 to Wednesday, March 12, 2025

Select the desired time zone from "10:00 am to 11:30 am", "1:15 pm to 2:45 pm", "3:15 pm to 16:45 pm"

Municipal Central Library (1 Omatsucho, Nishi-ku, Yokohama)

A 5-minute walk from Keikyu Hinodecho Station and a 10-minute walk from JR and Municipal Subway Sakuragicho Station.

Subject materials: Children's books (centered on picture books) ※There are no plans to provide general books.

Number of transferred books: Up to 120 books per group (including up to 20 picture-story shows)

From Thursday, November 28, 2024 to Thursday, December 19, <first come first served>

Please apply from the dedicated form (outside site).

• The application page will be released from 9:30 on Thursday, November 28.
• Participation is only once per group or facility.
• Applications will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Any duplicate application or application that does not meet the conditions will be invalid.
