About reminder

Last update date July 31, 2020

When city tax is not paid even if it is past set deadline of the delivery, "reminder" is sent.
We ask you to pay the tax immediately if reminder arrives.

When nonpayment continues after the sending of reminder, "disposition for failure to pay taxes" is carried out.

It takes up to around two weeks until payment data reach Yokohama-shi after paying city tax at financial institution or convenience store. As for the cases that we paid after it is past deadline of the delivery, payment data may not reach Yokohama-shi on shipment day of reminder. Therefore when we have been paid, reminder may be sent at different times, but thank you for your understanding.

About the items mentioned of reminder

There is thing sent by postcard that reminder is sent with sealed letter, but, as for changing, there are none in listed contents.
Thing sent with sealed letter has some formality other than the following example, and there is thing that payment notice is not enclosed.
The main items mentioned are as follows. (it supports number in sample image.)

Address, full name of tax payer is listed. As a general rule, in the case of property tax of joint ownership, we send toward the representative (destination of the tax payment notification).
Items of taxation becoming unpaid after deadline of the delivery are kitsuki, deadline of the delivery, the amount of a tax.
It is number to identify target items of taxation on database of city tax. In the case of inquiry, tell over telephones.
We make reminder on day listed individually. When we have been paid, reminder may be sent at different times when it is just on that day, and payment data do not reach Yokohama-shi.
