1.What is "child abuse"?

"Discipline of discipline ...", "For children ...".
Abuse is not a matter of the abuser's consciousness.
It is determined from the "child's position" how the child feels and hurt.

Specifically, in Article 2 of the Law Concerning the Prevention of Child Abuse (hereinafter referred to as the “law”), parents (parents) should take the following actions against children (under 18 years old). Is defined as

Physical abuse (Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act)

Injuring or potentially trauma to the child's body

  • Punch, kick
  • Throw it away
  • Shook violently
  • Burnt
  • Drowning
  • Strangling
  • Shut it out outdoors
  • Restrained in one room with ropes.
  • Forcibly and at risk

Sexual abuse (Article 2, Paragraph 2 of the Act)

Doing or making an obscene act with a child

  • Sexual acts to children
  • Show sexual activity
  • Touch and touch the genitals
  • Make it a subject of pornography, etc.

Neglect (Negligibility or rejection of protection) (Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Act)

Failure to hinder safety and health that hinder the normal development of a child's mind and body, and neglecting custody as a guardian.

  • Trapped in the house
  • Don't give a meal
  • Be very dirty
  • Leaving it in a car
  • Don't take him to a hospital even if he gets serious illness

Psychological abuse (Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the Act)

Conducting behaviors that cause significant psychological trauma to a child

  • Verbal threat
  • Ignore
  • Discriminatory treatment between siblings
  • Violence against family members in front of children (domestic violence: DV)
  • Abusive act of sibling
