Study Group on optimizing the size of schools following the rebuilding of Saito Branch Elementary School and Nitani Elementary School
The “School Scale Optimization Study Group for Reconstruction of“ Saito Branch Elementary School / Nitani Elementary School ”, which was established in July 2021, was held six times, and was held on September 11, 2024. Opinions were compiled at the 6th Study Group.
After that, the statement of position was submitted to the "2024 2nd Yokohama City School Scale Optimization Exploratory Committee" held on December 12, 2024, and "Report to report according to the statement of position" Has been decided to be submitted to the Board of Education.
The report is submitted to the Board of Education, and with confirmation and approval from the members of the Board of Education, according to the "Written Opinion" and "Report", "Saito Branch Elementary School will continue for the time being, and Nitani Elementary School will begin rebuilding in Germany. "

Opinion exchange meeting on school integration of Saito branch elementary school
At the 4th Study Group, it was decided to hold an exchange meeting in order to intensively discuss concerns about school integration related to Saito Branch Elementary School. At the discussion meeting held on June 27, 2023, the discussion meeting was completed, and adjustments will be made in the direction of holding the 5th Study Group.
