In Yokohama City, it is a rule that the school area is determined by the Address area registered as a resident and go to a designated school, and children living in the same school area will have to go to the same school. Become.
However, if your child has individual circumstances, there is a system called “out-of-designated area” that allows you to go to a school other than the designated school, and this system is applied when the following reasons apply .
In addition, please note that it may be rejected depending on the school principal determines that there is a problem with commuting to school, or depending on the facility conditions of the school.

After obtaining the consent of the principal of the school you wish to go to school, you will need to apply for permission at the ward office where you have registered as a resident.
If you wish to go to a nearby school instead of the designated school due to illness.
(A medical certificate is required as attached documents.)
If you have moved out of the school area of the school you have attended, but you wish to continue to go to the previous school because there is no obstacle to attending school.
If you wish to go to a school in an area where you live after leaving school, such as After-School Care Program Clubs (excluding after-school kids clubs) or self-employed stores because there is no custody after returning home due to the work of parents.
If your siblings have already been approved by the Director General and have attended a school other than the designated school and wish to go to the same school as their siblings.
If you plan to move in the middle of the school year and there is no obstacle to commuting, etc., so you wish to go to a school in the area where you are moving in advance.

A permit procedure is required at the ward office where you have registered as a resident.
(A building sales contract (copy) or lease agreement (copy) is required as attached documents.)

If you temporarily move out of the school area of the school you are attending due to a new construction or renovation of your home, but if you wish to continue attending the previous school because there is no obstacle to commuting to school.

②At the time of entering junior high school, he worked on the same cultural and sports activities as the desired club activities as a club activity at the previous school as a club activity at the time of transfer.

Please note that club activities may be abolished until enrollment or during enrollment due to school circumstances.

After obtaining the consent of both the designated school and the school you wish to go to school, a permit procedure is required at the ward office where you have registered as a resident.
For new students, attached documents will need an "Activity Certificate" (Excel: 15KB). Ask your club to prove your activity and check with the principal of your elementary school.

When a student wishes to go to a school other than the designated school, the principal of the school designated as educational consideration should be given to the specific circumstances of the elementary school student students and the school that wishes to go to school.
